No Camera....

I had to send my camera back to Canon last week to get some repairs done on it. It's been acting up for awhile but I didn't want to be without a camera, so I didn't get it fixed. It got to the point that my image quality is suffering, so, I had to get it repaired. I heard back from Canon already and it needs a new shutter assembly. I am excited to get it back and hope all is better. In the meantime, Jenn is sending me her 40D to use for my upcoming jobs until I get mine back. It should be here on Tuesday. I am so grateful she trusts me enough to send me hers! So until I get it I am totally cameraless and I feel kinda strange! I wanted to take a picture today so I was looking for our old point and shoot digital camera and Christian said he took it to work. Oh well. A few days won't kill me!
Eliana has started writing her name! It is amazing! I will post a picture when I get a camera! We are all doing well! I have been a slacker blogger lately... we've been so busy and had computer troubles too!

Jewels

Julia will be 7 months old on Wednesday! I cannot believe it! She had her 6 month check-up a few weeks ago. She was 16 lbs 15 1/2 oz. (around 44th%) and 26 1/2 inches long(around 67th%). She is full on crawling now and starting to pull herself up! She has two teeth (see picture below) She is a very happy little girl. She just needs to learn to sleep better at night! I think it's been about 2 months since I have gotten 4 straight hours of sleep. It's hard to feel like a normal person when you never get to finish a sleep cycle!

You can see her bottom two teeth in this one.
She looks so cute and chubby in this one :) This is her after pulling herself up.

Fiestas Patrias

Last Saturday, Sept. 13th, we went to Eloy for a parade for Fiestas Patrias. Frito Lay was in the parade and passed out lots of chips. Eliana got to help Christian pass out chips. She had fun and Julia enjoyed watching the parade. It was a very small, interesting town.

An old man hanging out on the corner in Eloy. I wanted to take more pics but didn't want him to realize what I was doing.
There was a stunt group in the parade. It was kinda a hick town....

Gymnastics

On Sept. 8th Eliana started a gymnastics class. It is just once a week for 55 mins. She loves it. It's through the city so it's not super formal or anything but she's learning the basics of tumbling.

Catching Up....

Our computer has been on the blink so that's why I haven't posted in awhile. Eliana had her first day of preschool on Sept. 2nd. She loves it!Eliana on her first day of preschool.

Julia is a great eater... here she's eating the spoon after finishing her pears.

Eliana helping her daddy fix the sprinklers.

Our little pool popped so Eliana and Emily went "swimming in the box" as Emily called it! They had a lot of fun and it occupied them for over an hour. Emily and Eliana are so cute together! Eliana always calls her Emily Cole instead of just calling her Emily.

Storm

Arizona certainly has some AMAZING storms. The following pictures are from yesterday. This storm lasted about 3 hours! These pictures really do the magnitude of the lightning no justice but you get the idea. It was really awesome!

Sandbox

I finally decided that we needed a sandbox. It has been a bit cooler this week and has felt really good outside. It's only been in the high 90's which is sounds crazy but is quite a relief! Eliana LOVES the sandbox even though it's a bit small!
Eliana and her "girl friend" Emily. Eliana started calling Emily her girlfriend the other day... not sure why. They are so cute together and are becoming very good friends. They will be in preschool together starting next week.
